Raglan vs BIM

Yeh, I know that one. I think once I read that the operating costs are about 25% higher than what they could have been if they did not have to fly people in and out. But still it is successful so by itself this is not that big a deal.

Raglan is pretty close to the cost but yes they also have to transport over land. In addition they shut shipment for some time (5 to 8 weeks or so per year, don't remember exactly) in order for the native to do some hunting on the ice. In addition they have to store the concentrate near Quebec City and ship from there to Sudbury, so they actually have a longer way to transport by train or truck. However, the Raglan concentrate has about 15% Ni so I suspect per tonne it has much more value(>1000 $/tonne) than iron ore

Raglan has been very succesful partly due to the very good relationships the old Falco developed with the natives. I suspect Baffinland could be similar.

I will for sure follow BIM and with any turnaround in the market I may go for it. As I said before this is the last amount of cash I got left in my RRSP so it better count.

Again, thanks for the hint and great info
