I started this on the Discussion board but it is off topic so I don't want ol' Woozle Rat hollering at me this morning..He is probably all hung over from Canada day and grumpy as a old bull moose that just got poked in the eye with a sharp stick..Haven't heard from him today but he's always hanging around here when he is not fishin'..trappin''..or drinkin' that evil brew he makes back in the bush..

Well you made it to retirement and now what..??

I am busy with travelling and puttering around the estate..

Try to put $10-20 grand a year in upgrades and maintenance and never bored around here..Do most of the work myself ..

And although not formally highly educated,(didn't finish my grade twelve)got my education through the school of hard knocks and educated in the ally..,,managed a sucessful military 14 year career..started,owned..operated and sold 4 Incorporated company's...educated two children..to masters and CMA levels and got them out in the workforce paying huge taxes so that my wife and I can live off the government dole starting this fall..managed to have my portfolio reduced by $1,000,000.00 in this last dip but still have enough to come back and survive quite well..

Will spend August is Indianopolis with daughter(McGill grad..masters in English)..2 year old grand son and new grand(Yet to be determined on the 3 August) and son in law..racing engineer,masters in Mechanical engineering..Queens...

In the mean while I will be supporting KXL and leading the team in alcohol testing and research...

I'm still picking away bottom fishing select stocks,in the gold and base metal arena that are beaten to death but will survive when we turn up..

When you can buy penny stocks for two cents and sell them for .50 in a turn up ..I will do quite well..

I learned that early in '64 when I passed on a bunch of stock on North Gate mining ..at .04 only to watch it eventually go to $17.00..
