Forgot to mention, one investment guru in a farm paper is saying that many feel the 1% per month (if memory serves) penalty for overcontributing may be worth paying. Of course with many stocks appreciating greatly over the past 6 months or so, it could easily pay to take the penalty. Perhaps if one has a great prospect now, 2% might be a small price to pay.
