Straightforward short selling I don't mind, a normal trade transaction just betting on downtrend - it's the NAKED SHORTSELLING that I think allows big money to manipulate a stock more than they otherwise would be able to do. I would hope all exchanges would clamp down on this. Once we are clear of the margin call sells - what else drives down the sp of QEC, other than a little profit taking at the end of the day? Get rid of naked shorting and I suspect this stock would stabilize and see a steady rise.
