A good start yes, but I am still concerned that those who have been making their daily $ from shorting bank stocks will simply move over to all other unregulated stocks. I hope I am wrong but they are a big portion of the market and they are addictied to daily profits from shorting. Regular shorting of non-financial stocks is still legal. I used to own BNS and TD but got off them because of the volitiltiy from shorting.
