New presentation by Forest Oil at the Bank of America conference Nov.14. It was a general presentation and when the Utica Shale topic came up it was very encouraging and upbeat.

Few key points:

Continuing lab work for large scale development. Drilling, testing for proof of concept.

Their horizontal technology has had success in all applications to date. ( Am I reading something between the lines?)

If proven, economics on Utica have a 40%-50% head start for Forest over Barnett due to royalty structure, costs, etc.

Forest presented the Utica Shale as a "Play that moves the needle"

With pending news just around the corner I can only see upside even in this ugly market.
