I would be curious as to what the exact numbers were for their wells instead of just a range (100 - 800). They could have had two low producing wells and only one that hit 800Mcf/d. I agree with Rocco that at least they know where to target future wells. I also guess that there will not be anymore news from FST in this area until april/may.
What does this mean for QEC's sp, will some see this as a disapointing result and push it even lower and come back in when more positive results for the area show up? Don't like to sound negative, but I was not overly enthused by this paragraph in their results. Combine this with skeptical investors in an overtly negative economy, and bad things can happen. On the optimist side of things, you can not extrapolate QEC's future based on these less than glamorous results (especially since they are not ours). Our testing to date has provided better results, and we know there is gas in the shale. Only a question of time (2yrs) until productivity and we might be presented with an extremely cheap entry point.
