I've been lurking on the board for the past few months waiting for something to come up that I could add intelligent comment on. Some days that's a pretty short list of topics ;-)
The involvement of QEC in the Horn River Basin has persuaded me to come out of the tall grass. This development is almost literally in my back yard, and the level of activity and quiet anticipation continue to grow daily. The "bigs" [including EOG of Barnett Shale fame] are in her up to their armpits.
As an example of the scale of things in the HRB, Encana is in the permitting stage for the construction of a processing plant dedicated to production in the basin that could be in the top 3 in terms of capacity in the world, and the BC and Federal governments have committed $187 million to paving [not road building - just paving] a road to the basin...and on it goes.
QEC has been on the ground here for years. My bet is, as the geological profile has continued to develop they've picked their spot.
