great post Inceptus. I read the artical with keen interest and although it is a couple of years old it still points out the useful "bridge" fuel that NG is...meaning the bridge between our situation with peak oil and the future energy resource...whatever that is going to be. But for the next decade or two or three we will see an ever increasing reliance on NG so that's a good thing for us NG investors.
The facts are simple
- clean fuel - environmentally a positive
- high BTU value - increased efficiency
- abundently available - local north american market
- stable political situation in NA - 84% AMN and 13% CDN make up
- political support - Obama looking for a stable source close to home
- well developed distribution system - Encana and others
- close to markets - QEC to NE USA
- increasing demand due to the above
One could go on for a while but I think we all get the point that investing in QEC is going to pay off well for those that hold long and buy more in the dips.
This weekend I hope to enjoy the last decent golf weather in southern Ontario. Keep it straight and long down the fairway...just like QEC...Peace and out for the weekend
