Thanks, Inceptus. I did'nt know about the situation in the US, but I had the impression that the Pickens plan got more attention this year. I dont remember, maybe it was in april, he was on TV-broadcast. I saw an interview with Mr. Pickens, where he talked about 18 wheeler trucks on CNG. It really gives good reason. They have to drive manny miles and you cannot do this on current batteries/electric power. They have also come a long way in developing combined fuells, like gas-turbine and different bio-fuells and like I wrote, even the engineers agree that NG gives most reason. It will take longer to develop the new effective fuell-cell. The NG should be prefered, even before atom energy, the engineers thinks, also cause it can be implemented faster.

Beijing taxies drive on NG and I have just read that Exon expand/widens their trade with China, because of a growing car-sales in china, they write something like this:(I try translate from german)
The complex in Singapore with a yearly refinery capacity from 12 million tons was taken into enterprise last Wednesday.

Also India use alot NG, New Delhi busses run on NG(so why not in other major cities).

We see private/average peoble, they just begin to use NG, like the taxies in california, argentina and china. I also heard some busses in thailand drive on NG. So, it has begun and for some time now. Well, I hope the lobby is the USA will succeed. The US is effective, but it may take them longer time to find out about a new effective fuell-cell and to develop new batteries and then the batteries need electricity anyway.

The world population may reach 10 billion. It will need alot of energy.
