Oslo (TDN Finans): Inventories of natural gas in the United States fell by 207 billion
cubic feet, or 5.5 percent, to 3.57 trillion cubic feet last week.

The announcement was made by the U.S. Department of Energy on Thursday afternoon according to Bloomberg News.

It was anticipated that inventories would fall by 178 billion cubic feet, or 4.7 percent, to 3.60 trillion cubic feet, according to estimates obtained by Bloomberg News.

I see that gas is now trading up 7.35% at 5.845 (not real-time). This is just the sort of lift MB mentioned in his recent interview and surely now approaching prices that make extracting gas from the shale formations more and more viable.
