Qec

I've tried to put together some stuff about Questerre - what is Questerre, what have happened this year and an activitylist of upcoming events. Probably missed and forgotten a lot...!

The company :

Questerre is a small oil- and gascompany operating in Canada. Qec is noted both in Oslo and Toronto. The company has no depth and cash at about 50 mill $ ,positive cash-flow from operations. Production today at about 700 boed with a mix of oil and gas.(40-60)

Oil/gasfield

British Colombia :

-Beaver River –more than 23000 acres 50/50 with TSU - gassfield with 3 producing wells giving about 200 boed net to Qec, but production is limited of high pressure in pipeline. The field is very prospective to shalegas. Independent studies estimates reserves at about 495 Bcf – 750 Bcf pr square mile

-Greater Sierra – 54 square miles 50/50 with EnCana – gasfield with 2 wells so far with small production. 6-8 wells planned for 2010. 4-5 interesting zones.

-Horn River Shale – over 17900 acres (12800 net) In addition to the very prospective Devonian Horn River shale there are also other interesting zones to be tested. First well is scheduled early 2010.

Saskatchewan:

-Antler – over 34000 acres(21115 net)oilfield with very good netback. About 50 well-locations are ready with about 100 more. The field produces about 200 bopd today and proven reserves per horizontal well is about 90000 barrels. Probably sold if good enough price.

Southern Alberta

-Vulcan – oil- and gasfield with good netback, limited reserves but probably ok production in many years.

Quebec

-About 1 mill acres or 340000 acres net. Shalegas in Utica and Lorrainezones+ Trenton Black –River zone. Recoverable resources ranging between 365 og 1300 mill barrels in the Uticazone according to Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. + Lorraine and TBR !!!
Qec has partners like Forest Oil and Talisman where Talisman is about to frac the first horizontal these days.
