Dear Posters:

Junex used a propane frac on their recent shallow shale drill at the Ste-Augustin site. They said that they recovered all of the propane used, and that it was fortunate they had not used water for the frac, because of the production of oil from the well.

Could the propane frac be a solution to the produced water problem from shale gas wells? Perhaps one of the O& G experts on this board could address this issue.
