In today's report from Orion Securities referred to the following shares as stock of the day:


• Questerre (18.30) - an attractive shale gas player. Several transactions in the industry underpins our positive view on the stock. Recent transactions include Exxon Mobile's acquisition of XTO. Favorable valuation and attractive shale gas areas in a politically stable area makes Questerre a likley takeover candidate. In the short term there are several price triggers. Towards the end of the month we expect test results from St. Edouard well in Utica. Results from another well in Utica, Gentilly, are expected later this season. The results will show whether Utica can be developed commercially.
