Questerre have Monday morning arrived with a Utica-update, and writes that the best estimate of recoverable shale gas reserves equivalent to net 726 million barrels of oil equivalent - subject to a recovery rate of 10 percent.

This is up from 713 million barrels of oil equivalent in the previous update.

- With fresher, more stable flow rate of approximately 6 MMcf per day from the horizontal well St. Edouard No. 1A, we have even greater faith in the prospects for our considerable Utica-resource, "says Questerre-chief Michael Binnion in a comment.
