Message: Re: EPA regulations to curtail mountaintop (coal) mining

Future NG prices being the singlemost important outside factor for the QECs SP, I'd say political changes that will increase, and more importantly speed up, the need for NG, is of interest for a QEC stockholder. Increased costs to mine coal, on top of the other recent setbacks for coal industry, can very well be that last drop.

While the transition to hybrid and NG driven cars probably will take years to gain a big foothold outside public and business-related transportation, the transition to NG-driven powerplants is getting ever so interesting, as both the steady supply of NG is considered more then we need for decades to come (though I dont share that positive view on US shale), and the very attractive pricing compared to oil and even coal. And thats not even taking the environmental aspect of NG into consideration.
