The Norwegian National Holiday is coming up - Syttende Mai (May 17) - when they celebrate their independence and founding of their Constitution. There must be a connection with that to make it a longer weekend. So the Thursday is also a stat Holiday and then most take the Friday off too. Maybe one of our qec friends from Norway can explain the Thursday holiday.
