Le gaz de schiste, «une industrie solide, qui est payante», selon Secor: (bad translation if translated to danish, but I try it here anyway, cause of the last bad things I've read, now to post some positive outlook and say thanks to all. Now I get it better:) You have a BIG country and industy, cause if it was little Denmark, it would have been very much different:) I also read that the oposition, they dont want to ban/abandon the shale gas, they want it done in a safe way and like you say, they want money/be secure they can stay in their places.
And yes, it can take a few years, but it has begun. If I understand right, then the bigger guys meet next week. Well, ok:
Shale gas, "a strong industry, which pays off," says Secor:
If the resource is confirmed, the shale gas industry promises to be "solid" and "pay", without creating tens of thousands of jobs.
This was announced this morning Marcel Cote of the economic analysis firm Secor, unveiling the study he conducted on behalf of the Oil and Gas Association of Quebec.
This study is cited by industry leaders for several months, but they had kept confidential.
According to the scenario presented by Secor, he could drill an annual maximum of 600 horizontal wells, but the baseline is about 150 wells annually.
Each drill would work to average 33 people a year, according to calculations by the firm.
We are talking about an industry that would employ about 5000 people, with 150 wells annually.
If it is far from figures cited so far by industry (7500 to 15 000 jobs) is that you then apply it to more wells drilled completely.
In terms of amounts owed to the state, Mr. Secor believes that at its maturity in 2025, the industry could generate $ 1 billion a year, with 7,000 active wells. For purposes of calculating the royalty rate was set at 10% and gas prices at 6 cents per 1000 cubic feet.
"We will never 3 billion in royalties, and perhaps it will be 500 million if gas prices are lower," says Côté.
But he claims it is too early to debate on royalties. "If Quebec is like other regions, it should lower its fees the first year and then meet them knowingly," he said. That's probably what the government will do is what the deputy ministers will be advised. "

I read something like this, also from Secor:

With these figures, it could look like, that the amount produced from qec land could be ok/in line with everything.
And now OSE finished at 10,24NOK a buy signal to me, though I can't do this TA=technical analyses, I remember 10,10 to 10,25NOK as a point:) I'm sure it fits with an other buttom.
