I saw the volume late after the close , last time we had that kind of volume goes back june 18 when the price closed at $3.69 . That's about 3 times some of the best volume we had any day this year , retails can not explain this alone with tax loss , major institutions were obviously involved yesterday .

It's still a very low level and a very interesting price to get in , the longer it lasts the more money there is to be made for those who can afford to snatch high volumes , if it only goes up to $2.00 some institutions will make their year in 2011 with QEC .

Once the BAPE make their recommendations and the process is over with , the SP might very well reach that level even before we start looking at legislation .

Major institutions in Canada understand the implications for energy development in Quebec and they know the eastern USA is our major export market . Nat gas can be exported directly through a pipeline or otherwise , or can be used eventualy to produce electricity , and that pipeline infrastructure is already in place for exportation .

Nat gas is also an important mean of heating in many cities in Quebec already and could grow a lot more at the actual price level in order to replace electricity heating , freeing more hydro electricity for exportation .

All energy prices are related and can be seen as one source of energy wich means hydro lines already in place can also be seen as a kind of nat gas pipeline towards the US . Whatever elctricity is transfered to the New England and New York states can be transfered to the midwest and to the southern states through the integrated electricity power lines .

Electricity needs and prices are bound to rise with electric motor vehicles and economic growth . The south west states have already encountered major problems over the last years and it will continue for sure , the electricity infrastructure being already in place it remains the easiest access to answer energy needs .

By transforming shale gas into electricity and replacing electricity use for heating here we will add value to the nat gas prices by exporting more electricity and it will become very profitable for the province taking advantage of higher electricity revenue and royalties on nat gas . It's a win win situation for Quebec

Season greetings to all
