Jason from QEC has been great, always give prompt answers and I wanted to share with you all...my question was on the BAPE and what we can expect:
"There was extensive evidence presented by industry experts at the BAPE hearings on the safety of the fracturing process. There was, to the best of our knowledge, no contrary expert evidence presented by any of the environmental groups or other opposition. So one would imagine that the BAPE has a good understanding of these processes and that they are safely conducted across North America for years by following industry best practices. The Minister of Natural Resources has firmly stated there will be no moratorium, and non-competitive regulations will be the same as moratorium."
Read that last line...non competitive regulations is the same as a moratorium, which means we'll look to see regulations in place that are strict yes, but will still allow the industry to develop and move forward with ease still.
