I don't want to be inpolite about quebecers really, in fact I had a nice girlfriend from Montreal once upon a time, cause we met and travelled in Europe together. Her parents were ukraine. But I never went to Canada myself cause of economic reasons.
About Qec, there's this political risk involved and can't we know for sure the industry will succeed. I read about the ban of oil exploration in the sea following the same pattern as this shale gas debate.
One other aspect is to be delayed. There's a huge development og gas plays in North America, and if you are late, your main role will be pressing the price of gas even more down below the line of profit. That's even a problem today.
So what Questerre should do - is to go other places than Quebec, like Ukraine together with TSU, India and other provinces of Canada like Antler where they are producing light oil which is very well paid.
The Utica gas won't disappear. Perhaps 10-15 years from now it could be more interesting for people of Quebec, but we dont know for sure.
