I can't for the life of me understand how pretty much every single Canadian newspaper, and everyone basing their statements on what they read there, claim Arcand have announced a "halt", "freeze", "moratorium" or "put on hold", "puts brakes on" etc. etc shalegas exploration in general and fracking in particular.

Even those supporting shalegas apparently have just as poor sources of information as the activists right now. I'm allmost tempted to think I'm the one that haven't gotten it rigth, but its far more likely we can note it down as another casualty of the misplaced trust in the medias ability to express the truth.

Working my way through whats out there for a later post, but not being able to read french probably rob me of a few gems.
