If QEC was trading just based on a resource and the potential, which is huge...then we'd be sitting at $3 easily imo. The market only likes this company based on news etc. I however expect QEC to move up slowly anyway, as smart money moves in etc...it takes a week or two to remove any short term players etc...after it does move you get covering of shorts etc and then a normal trading phase.
The first trading day after the BAPE, we trade 2.5M and next day 1M...all shares were bought between 1.15-1.25...that volume is very low, especially considering if most people thought this was a moratorium...but I think investors were smart about it this time around.
It does make you wonder though about how they come up with a reasonable sp..when it gapped down. Went from 1.56 to 1.20 gap down. So what if were trading at $2.30 for example...then do we gap down to say $1.80? It's an interesting thought.
Despite all this, it is a clear sign that this is moving forward towards commercialization. Yes we have bumps in the road, but these are the steps needed for Quebec and we're getting it done.
