Chesapeake sold some of it's utica shale properties today. The value that was given to the utica shale in this deal is approx $15,000/acre. My mouth dropped when I read that. To think, they don't even have a lot of information or results and that's what it's going for.
If our Quebec acerage of 330,000 net acres was sold for that, we'd be looking at about a $22 share price. Heck, give me a a fifth of that and I'd be happy.
Amazing what can happen in places that think with logic and encourage the economy.
Our day will come.
