Hydraulic fracturing is already a game changer. Sadly this is reflected in the natural gas price which keeps hitting decade low every second day it seems. The moratorium will be lifted at some point due to meta geopolitics unless Quebeckers are retarded which I don't think they are.
Natural gas is widely recognised as a bridging fuel to more expensive renewable and sustainable energy. Consequently natural gas demand and price will rise world wide. In Europe natural gas will eventually play a large part its energy supply. In additiona Europe would like to diversify its current international suppliers e.g. Russia, Middle East, North Africa, Norway etc. Imagine Quebec exporting LNG to Europe. That would be so huge for us. This scenario would probably take decades. It is a waiting game indeed.
