Although I dont know that much about the politics in Quebec, this really sounds unrealistic. I guess that this might lead to Quebec cutting of the hand that feeds them. Or do they want to be "independent" and still recieve welfare transfers?

If they want to ban the development of natural resources as well, where will the money come from when big brother is no longer there? To me it does not add up.

Good thing they dont have a majority position at least. Mike seems to think that PQ talking about a definitive moratorium on shale gas was just an act to get votes, according to him they will be favourable if it is proven that it can be done safely. Hope so.
