Good morning ebear.

I am very glad to see you come aboard and I also have been reading your informative posts on ARU.   Patience is what we all need in these volatile markets but we are here because we believe Rainy has the goods.  The 43-101 did not include any of the last news release results plus they are still drilling which will add more value.  There were no stocks spared yesterday and the volume is so low most of the time.  Looking forward to your posts on the board.

Thanks Notie Girl!   You're right, we've definitely seen a shift in the market since 2006.  I put it down to the credit/banking crisis.  A lot of players were caught holding bad paper, some mining co's included (SSO for example) and there's less margin and financing available now because of that.  Caution, not irrational exuberance (like with the Uranium stocks) is the watchword now, which is why you want to own companies with proven resources.  The upside is, they are discounted here, so you can buy them fairly cheap for what they have in the ground.  In a few years people will kick themselves for not stepping up here, especially with gold pushing 1000 on its way to 1500 (I sound like Jim Sinclair..LOL).  The real test lies directly ahead.  Will we have another slow summer as is traditional in this industry, or will all these new discoveries be in play as the majors take advantage of seasonal weakness to make their moves?  They can't wait around much longer with the way gold is running.  Should be an interesting year.

What happened to your polar bear BTW?  I kind of liked that bear.  I'm a big fan as you can see.  Ever since I was a little kid I've loved bears.  One of my heros is Benjamin Kilham who raises orphaned bear cubs down in New Hampshire.  It's something I'd like to do myself some day, if I ever get the chance.
