Will an annoucement be made after the Ist

What are the chances of any kind of annoucement about the current status of the company? Will we hear anything about the on going merger? Is it happening or will it happen? Will there be a news event after Jan 1st?

The count down is almost finished and let's hope it doesn't end up looking like a recent Indian satillite launch.
