Does anyone remember seeing a trading alert?

I consider myself to be a student of the public markets, and I'm always learning. Of course I already have pretty fixed opinions, especially when it comes to stocks that are being hyped and promoted.
The reason I'm asking about a trading alert is because I just received one for another stock I own, LAC....apparently it was the biggest % gainer on the TSX last week. But thinking back I can't remember ever seeing one about RVX when the stock was going up like crazy before this most recent lull.
I've seen this type of activity before....where a stock climbs like crazy but the industry outfits that put out alerts don't include it. The reason I think this might happen is because trading houses are either short or long on a stock. When they're short a big gainer doesn't get included in the alerts sent out because the monkeys (my word for MMs) don't want potential investors/traders being alerted....whereas they'll include stocks if they've got clients looking to unload.
I'm not writing this to attract attention to LAC, because in my opinion once the monkeys start ringing the dinner bell its too late and the risks are too great. If LAC does start running higher with retail investors being lured in by news/hype/promo then I'll be dumping and I'll have some extra do ré mi and some of it will likely go to buying more RVX is things stay quiet.
Does anyone ever remember seeing any kind of trading alert over the past 3 or 4 months for RVX?
