What would an update really tell us?

I don't mean to take exception to SF's request....however I do have to wonder what an update would do? I'm irked over the promise of an orphan indication that was not followed through on, but even if DM had named some obscure liver disease or diseases....that doesn't mean the market would have neccessarily reacted in a positive fashion with bigger volumes trading and a higher share price.
Right now RVX is worth a little more than $2 a share....that's reality. What will it be worth in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year or in 5 years? My guess is anywhere between $0 and $100.
Obviously I'm speculating that the value of my shares will increase...but the only way that will happen is if, assuming RVX does attain a higher valuation...that when that higher valuation is attained, that there will be investors out there speculating that it can go even higher still.
I've bought we'll say for an average of $1 per....and in say 1 year it goes to $10, so I say "okay, that's fair value" and look to sell. Who's going to buy something for $10 unless they see the potential for it to go even higher? And if it has the potential to keep climbing after I part with my shares....Why would I sell in the first place?
If my hopes/expectations for RVX presenting at the Epicongress have a solid basis, then we won't be waiting long.
