Lots going on in the next 3 weeks. Presentations next week at Cavendish in Cleveland and BioNetwork in CA. BioEurope in Germany the following week. They just presented at Bio Investor Forum yesterday, and just last month we had Rodman & Renshaw, Yale Club and the AGM. I'd say that they are putting a heck of a lot of effort to spread the work to the investment and biopharmaceutical community. So what are they waiting for? Why aren't they jumping in?
Perhaps they are waiting for an official announcement that BETonMACE has begun? Based on what we've heard in recent presentations, enrollment should have begun by now. First patient dosing is sometime in Q4 2015, and if it hasn't happenened already, should be imminent. Will we get an announcement related to this? How will the market respond if at all? Personally, I am getting tired of hearing about the upcoming/planned BETonMACE and would like to see them use ongoing/active language instead!
Perhaps they are waiting for the scientific validation? Publications are on the way early next year. But in the meantime, the next 3 weeks offers a flurry of presentations: 2 at ASN Kidney Week in San Diego by Dr. Kaymar Kalantar-Zadeh. Another at American Heart Association in Orlando by Dr. Norman Wong. Zenith attending and possibly presenting at the AACR cancer conference in Boston. Resverlogix attending an Alzheimer's clinical trial meeting in Barcelona. And in the next 3 weeks Resverlogix is planning to have parts 2 and 3 of their Blog Series on the complement system. These may stir the pot a bit and get some excitement from the scientific community.
I think we're all excited and impatient. But remember, it's all been positive news!
Best,
