I like this, down to just 6,700 from 18,700.....the updated number is current up to Dec 31 2015, so its only 3 trading days old.

Of note is the fact that this is the lowest number of shorted shares we've seen since February of last year when the number up to February 28th was just 4,000....

Taking a look at the numbers from last year though something intesting pops up. The number for Dec 31st 2014 was just 8,500....but then by Jan 15th 2015 it spiked up to 80,500.....and we all know what happened next, RVX started its wild ride going from around 50 pennies up as high as $3. I would suggest what happened last year is some ''in the know'' players sold those shares short in an effort to shake the old tree and accumulate....if it was carried out by MMs it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

For those perhaps like me, who've kept their TFSA contributions as dry powder.....if 2016 follows the same pattern that 2015 did, then we just might see a spike in short interest.....one, that in my opinion would be an obvious attempt to shake the tree and scoop up some cheap shares from nervous holders for a pending big run.
