When seeing the news release today, I wondered what it could mean for RVX.

1) RVX-208 is incredibly strong and helps people with DM and/or renal problem and that's why RVX is looking for other indications different than BETonMACE. The more the merrier, RVX projected sales and value will increase and its good for the shareholders.

2) The probability of a BETonMace success is lower than expected and optimism has lost some ground among RVX's troops. They need backup plans to assure a little hope after the trial's failure.

Are they losing focus on the real trial or since they can't do nothing about it, they try to spread out RVX-208 applications?

Yes, cash position is okay right now, but seeing them spend left and right with years to come before payday leave me with more doubts.
