With all of us guessing at what might going on, my suspicion is that we may be getting news of a new partner. It was one of the things DM had indicated would be on the checklist for this year. Perhaps there was a need to wait for the safety profile to be passed before a new partner would sign up. That theory could also fit in to something I posted a while ago related to how the share price was being kept in a certain range. Normally a partner buys in based on an average price of shares over a 5 or 10 day period.

In any event, that's my hope. Now if that partner was Pfizer and they wanted to bolster their recent Medivation acquisition by cornering the Zenith side of things (ZEN3694), it could almost make sense. I don't think we'd see $14B, but $2B would be nice.

Don had always said the reason he was spinning off ZEL from ZCC was precisely for this reason.

Anyways, just my opinion. It could just be that they were unable to book the meeting room in Calgary for Oct 5 and needed to find an alternate venue
