Speculation is warranted

Some on this board and Stockhouse have been questioning why Hub leaders haven't been flagging/removing posts because of speculation, etc. First of all, I was on vacation and my phone broke and by the time I caught up with all of the posts there were way too many to try to manage. Sure, we could go back to Monday and flag/remove a ton of posts, but there is very little value of that now. So it's a little late now. Second, and more importantly, this whole situation is odd and rare and in my opinion (as well as San Fran's opinion from what I've read) the speculation is totally warranted. The companies could have handled this better in terms of timing and communication. But because they didn't, the force to speculate is way too strong to try to restrain.
If we are to simply go off of emails from Sarah/Clayton/Don or phone calls from Heather that have been copy and pasted or paraphrased on Agoracom or Stockhouse, then this is what the picture looks like:
Two companies, Resverlogix and Zenith, both had their AGMs scheduled for October 5 and both have been cancelled per notices on SEDAR earlier this week. According to email/phone calls with the company, the AGMs have been postponed and are in the process of being rescheduled. They think they have a date in mind, but aren't ready to share it yet because they are finalizing the agenda. We can only assume that the AGMs for both Resverlogix and Zenith will be re-scheduled for the same date like they were previously for October 5, but this is yet to be determined. The reason for the cancellation/postponement/rescheduling seems to be more than just a scheduling conflict. Although Don mentioned in an email to Rocketman that they are "simply rearranging the dates to accommodate various business opportunities," we have also seen in shared emails that they are still finalizing the agenda, which suggests that the agenda is in a state of flux and changing.
So on the whole, we are left with a picture of a company cancelling their AGM for a reason more complex than just a scheduling conflict. And due to the rarity of this kind of event and the limited information we have to go on, speculation is perfectly natural and warranted in this scenario.
As hub leader, I try to be fair. I've probably flagged and removed posts in the past that I shouldn't have. I'm not perfect. But in my opinion, the discussion of this topic has been mostly respectful (a few exceptions) and very useful. I am not planning on flagging or removing anything from the past few days. We've seen both positive and negative spins on this, though mostly positive. I think we've beaten this issue to death until we receive some more information from the company, preferably in the form of a SEDAR release of a AGM rescheduling and a news release.
