BDZ is usually the go to guy for science related questions, but I think this one is pretty much a no brainer. Given that we just got a positive recommendation to contiue the trial back in August from the Data Safety Monitoring thingamagroupie, that suggests to me that MAC events are being reviewed as they happen.....How else could the DSMC (whatever its called) have come up with a positive recommendation citing no safety or efficacy concerns. The only way I can see them commenting on efficacy is if they're looking at MAC events as they happen.
