The wording of "efficacy" in continuing the trial without any changes  in the press release is somewhat strange.   I don't  know 100% and I do realize the trial   is a blinded study, But if the DSMB looked at the results and noticed the placebo group results had the exact  same results as the control group that they would recommend to stop the trial before the 125  MACE events ,  Just does not seem ethical to continue for over 2 years for all those sick patience , Or I am completl wrong in my thinking???
