Sanfran perhaps you are missing the point others were trying to make, or perhaps I did. I believe that one of the primary purposes of these "Kidney Charaties" as you call them, is to disseminate information to real people suffering with the disease, to educate them and give them hope. I don't believe people on this board were suggesting these charities start buying 208 or bidding to purchase Resverlogix.
As a parent of a son who developed type 1 diabetes when he was 8, these charitable organizations were a great source of information and incite into the developing sciences surrounding potential cures and treatments. There are real people out there Sanfran that could benefit from this news release. These "charities" are a great tool in spreading that information because they have a genuine interest in bettering the health and wellbeing of persons suffering with chronic kidney disease.
For what it's worth, It's just the way I interpreted the posts you chose to rant about.
