That's the first time I have heard that RVX-208 improves LVEF. Are there stats out there regarding LVEF and RVX-208. I am not aware of any publications from RVX or measurements being required in the Phase III betomace trial to measure LVEF. It is my understanding that a measurement of LVEF requires either an echochardiagram or a tee, ie., transesophageal echo. An echochardiagram is a rather expensive test to administer to 2400 patients and I was not aware that a low LVEF was a patient requirement for the trial.
