I don't expect transparency....

I'm a bit of an odd ball....I fully expect to be mislead and kept in the dark, and yet despite that expectation, it still annoys me. I don't like someone relieving themselves in my corn flakes and then telling me its milk, but in all aspects of business its the norm imo.
Gonna date myself, although not as bad as with the Al Jolson reference. Back during the so called "cola wars" Pepsi and Coke were accused of predatory pricing activities. They allegedly engaged in selling their products below cost to drive out competitors who didn't have strong enough balance sheets to absorb prolonged losses like the big boys. Consumers were thrilled with the lower prices, but when the small players get eliminated the bigger players can then charge what they want and make up what they lost and more.
You see it now with the housing market. In places like Toronto agents are intentionally pricing homes below recent market prices to generate interest. A house listed at $750K, chances are if you go and offer to pay the asking price with zero conditions, your offer will be refused in a lot of areas...a buddy of mine north of Toronto just sold his home in this manner and refused the first offer even though it was $20K over ask, he ended up getting $60K over the ask.
IMO the market is rigged, and that includes the public markets.....that is to say stocks. In fact its in the stock market that I consider it to be the worst.
FWIW, depsite this opinion I bear no personal animosity against DM or anyone else with the company itself. This is the system as I see it, and while the game often annoys my sense of fair play, I'll hate the game and not the players.
