Message: Confirmation bias.....

There's something called ''confirmation bias'' where people take all the available facts and then work them so that they fit into a pre-conceived and fixed opinion.....it helps one feel more confident about a point of view, because by massaging the available data one can make oneself believe that the opinion held is factaully based and thus more legitimate.

I might be about to engage in that type of behaviour, if I'm being irrational in your opinion, please share your view(s)....I think I'm being logical, but maybe I'm just confirming my pre-conceived bullish opinion.

Is Resverlogix behaving like a company concerned with its PPS?  I don't think so....other companies presenting at the B&B conference today put out PRs announcing their participation.  Its a chance to communicate with shareholders, and a lot of retail investors like a company that puts out lots of news, even if its not material.

Then they go to the actual investor conference, and if they used the same presentation that was made available on-line, then they messed up the Power Point by including agenda items that have no slides.  If a company were wanting to impress investors...man oh man.  Even just messing up the web based PDF is pretty shoddy imo.

Maybe its just me, but when I think of science in general and Biotech in particular, the phrase ''attention to detail'' comes immediately to mind.  Messing up and investor presentation is like going to a lanscaping contractor and seeing all the interlocking bricks cracked and heaving....with weeds growing everywhere in the cracks.

Now...it could be incompetence, or perhaps they just don't care that much.  If they truly had their backs to the wall and were in dire need of attracting attention, you would think they'd be doing all they can....no half measures, dotting the I's and crossing the T's.

The flaw in this logic is that....If they truly don't care, then why even bother with an investor conference?  I have some opinions on that....they are a public company after all and its all part of the game imo.  Its like the Christmas party, lots of people will go even though they have no use for it.  Perhaps the company is, in a way, obligated to attend...even though they'd rather not.

That might explain the half donkeyed PDF file they put out.  I don't mean donkey as the profane word, but as the synonym for donkey.  Maybe DM could have just said Hee-Haw today.

Sorry for the violation....apparently a word as in offensive as the other word for donkey, a word that is in the Bible for goodness sake, apparently its too risqué for agoracom.....ahhh well, wouldn't want to offend any mentally challenged children who might get upset.
