I find all of these BET patents fascinating.

The scientific community seems to be reaching a tipping point with BET inhibition and I'm not clear how Big Pharma can avoid digging their paws in to the field.

Drugs are used off label by physicians all the time. That being said, I don't believe any Pharma (Pfizer included) would spend big money on a human trial of 208 without a licensing agreement in tow beforehand. 

I can spend money on a trial to show that colon ca is less common in those taking ASA daily but if the results are hugely positive it will be Bayer and not me that will benefit most.

I have a feeling Don is asking for a big paycheck here....
