Well Sanfran since you asked.... A theory we do not often want to hear or think about, is the idea that negative news is coming and someone is dumping their stock.

When we see an unexplained increase in a SP there is often discussion and speculation on this board that good news may be coming "the old theory that the janitor overheard something in the office etc, etc....) well here we have an unexplained rapid drop in price with volumes we are not used to seeing as of late. Many here have stated that they find it odd that the SP has dropped so much with such little dilution. If the "janitor" (or doctor, scientist, hospital official, drug currier, dosing nurse, or his/her family friends or lovers etc, etc... and on and on) has stumbled upon or overheard bad news, then that news could be quite valuable to many.

Just yet another theory, although an undesirable one.
