I'm not disputing their answer....I'm asking what was disclosed to the attendees in San Diego when that slide was up on the screen.  Simple question....there are a myriad of possibilities, some more plausible than others.

A) "...and now onto finances.  Okay, I have to appolgise here....this slide is full of mistakes"|.  

This one doesn't hold water really....if they'd realized the mistake right away they could have made the corrections much quicker than they did....or maybe they could claim they don't care.  But then why bother correcting them at all?

B) "....as it says here the debt is now $117.6 million, that is actually a new figure....we anticipate makign an annoucment regarding...blah blah blah"

Gotta be careful of course, in today's day and age you never know if someone had their cell phone capturing everything on video.
