golfyeti - DM talked about this briefly at the AGM in response to a direct question about stopping BETonMACE early because of exceptional results. I did not take notes so am going from memory here. The comment about stopping the trial early had something to do with the requirements of the EMA and the payor groups needing a certain minimum amount of information to get approval in their channel's. There was also something else regarding the payor groups. If someone on the board has notes from the last couple of AGMs I'm pretty sure there was a reasonable answer to that exact question.
