RVX announced they are at 1950 patients today 11/1/17. We have 8 months until end of H1 2018. If they are adding ~100 patients/month, and if the enrollment target is 2400 patients, they should have no problem reaching 2400 by Q1 2018. So why the more broad H1 2018 estimate? An increase in patient target from 2400 to a larger number? Intentionally holding off on further non-USA enrollment in order to save the last 400 out of 2400 spots for USA patients? Legal/logistical difficulties getting the USA sites activated and enrolling? A slowing down of overall enrollment everywhere due to financial difficulties? Covering their bases with an overly generous estimate to ensure they don't disappoint? There are too many unknowns to classify this as a good or useless info nugget.
