Yes, happy Thanksgiving all. I grew up in the United States, in NYC, NJ and Oregon....we moved to NYC form the Great White North when I was less than a year old and didn't move back permanently to Canada until I was 12. Back then, while my passport might have said Canadian....I certainly felt more like a Yank.
I actually prefer the timing of American Thanksgiving to Canada's. I get that its a harvest celebration, and in Canada we harvest our fields earlier than in the U.S. by and large. But there's a better symetry to the US holiday schedule. Labor day, followed by Halloween, then Thanksgiving toward the end of November....and then a month to celebrate the Christmas season. In Canada once Halloween is over some start decorating for Christmas, its way too soon. Some wait until after Remembrance Day which I think is fitting, but even the 12th of November is too soon.
Well I'm going to do another Blog post about Resverlogix, for US Thanksgiving....but I'm not going to write it up on Avoid The Bag. I used to write over at Seeking Alpha and my account is still active, although I haven't put anything up on there in over 2 years....and I wrote up some HUGE winners, Nemaska, Amica, Savaria, Regal. I am going to go into full pump mode with my next one on there, it seems the fitting place for a pump piece. I have 90 followers there, so who knows....
I'll post the link here when I'm done.....gonna start on it tonight.
