Trial costs decreasing - It is my understanding that when recruiting stopped both patient and clinic up front balloon payments would have stopped as well. There would certainly be ongoing costs for patient monitoring and the medications but the heavy lifting would be finished. If the burn rate is expected to be down to 1 million per month by Sept then I would have a hard time accepting that all patients would be dosed until the end of the trial...unless they are expecting the full 250 MACE events would have happened by then!
