Points taken Narmac....the only caveat I would toss in is that Zenith is not a public company, so the burden of disclosure is not the same.
After ruminating on this for a while though, and posting here and messaging hub members like Kelsee and Bear has been part of that process, allowing me to work through my thoughts....I have decided to drop the matter completely.
I just PM'd Kelsee and it seems to me that a reasonable explanation could very well be that our former VP of IR was terminated. If so that in of itself is a positive in my opinion, I think he was a disaster at corporate communications. The company issuing a PR saying the financials and MD&A were on the website when they were not is just one of many examples.
But releasing an employee is never easy, there's always the potential for the former employee to go down the legal road. I think its reasonable to expect that a Non Disclosure Agreement or NDA would be part and parcel of any termination agreenment....and that would explain Sarah's inability to comment in any way shape or form other than to say he left in early May. And the coincidental timing, happening at the same time as the 3rd Eye Loan....they might not have had the resources for a severance package until that facility was avaiable.
I'm dropping it, its a dead issue. Now bring on the SSRA or at least another thumbs up from the DSMB.
