Awesome Masilla, thanks for posting it. What does it mean? This is my take, contrary opinions are welecome of course.
The first one I saw was on Thursday the 14th at over 1 million, then Friday's for over 600K, and now today's which shows 259,400
I believe this represents the number of delivery failures, where shares have been sold but after the settlement period of 2 or 3 days, were not delivered to the accounts of the buyers.
Why are we seeing 100 buy ins, but the numbers don't correspond? I think the likely answer is that some shares are being located via the 'Buy In' facility, and today there were two trades totalling 22,300 shares. I imagine that other shares are being located and legitmately borrowed....incurring the relevant fees, and that the total of shares located by the forced buy-ins and through actual borrowing....that the total brought the number of delivery failures down....down from 1+ million to 600+K and now today to almost 260K.
We shall see where the # is tomorrow....if Massilla or someone else could share it tomorrow that would be awesome.
